After waiting a year and a half and six months since we first met you, today we finally get to hold you in our arms. We call this Gotcha Day! In less than 2 hours, you will be with us, playing with Austin and Lily Grace and looking like the pretty princess you are to mommy and daddy. We are so happy to get to see you today for the first time. We've seen lots of pictures, but getting to see you face to face is going to be wonderful. We don't really know what these first several hours will be like, but we hope that you will learn quickly how much we already love you. I am sure that Jessica has told you 'Wa ai ni' for us many times, but today we will get to tell you ourselves. Lily Grace is so excited about meeting you. None of us could sleep last night, so we might be a little tired today. We were all up from midnight to 4 am. And then we slept for a few hours. We ate breakfast at 9:30, but we haven't been able to eat since.
In one hour, Emily (our guide) will come to the hotel to take us to the Office of Civil Affairs to meet you for the first time. We have done everything we can think of in preparation. Austin and I went shopping for you this morning and Austin bought you a little teddy bear. He hopes you like it. It does come with a lot of love because Austin had to use his Chinese to get it right. He wanted to find an oooo guay for you (that's a turtle) because lately turtles have been popping up everywhere since we first met you. In China, turtles are representative of longevity. And that is so appropriate since you will now be with your forever family.
See you in an hour sweet tater!
Love,
Mommy, Daddy, Austin, and Lily Grace

Oh Jerry how sweet. We are praying for all of you on this special day. By this time your precious Lia Faith should have already been placed in your arms. I know that she will feel the love that you all have for her.
Blessings
Becky
